Polyethylene waxes belong to the group of synthetic waxes and have a large number of advantages over natural waxes. By choosing the technology and changing the parameters of the technological mode of production, waxes can be obtained in a wide range of different characteristics, such as viscosity, melting/drop point, hardness, etc. At the same time, strictly observing the technological parameters of production, it is possible to obtain products with maximum stability of characteristics, which is almost impossible in the case of mineral or natural waxes. It is this variety of properties and their stability that formed the basis for the widespread use of polyethylene waxes in various areas of industry and the national economy. Below are some applications of polyethylene waxes. As examples, a selection of patents and inventions with their application is also presented.
